How far in advance should I book sound hire in NYC?
For corporate conferences in Manhattan, we recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance. Larger events or multi-day conferences should be secured 4–8 weeks out. Last-minute bookings are often possible depending on availability.
Do you provide a technician/operator with your packages?
Yes. All core packages include a professional audio technician for up to 8 hours. Your operator handles setup, soundcheck, live mixing, and strike — ensuring your event runs smoothly from start to finish.
Can you work with hotel AV teams or venue production staff?
Absolutely. We regularly collaborate with in-house AV teams, event planners, and venue managers across NYC. We integrate seamlessly and communicate clearly so there are no surprises onsite.
What happens if our event runs overtime?
Overtime is billed hourly at the rate outlined in your package agreement. We remain flexible and will always confirm with you before extending coverage.

Can you support hybrid or livestreamed events?

Do you offer larger “festival-style” sound systems?
Yes. In addition to conference packages, we offer larger PA systems with subwoofers, monitor speakers, amp racks, and expanded microphone counts for large venues and outdoor events.
Are you insured?
Yes. NY Sound Tech carries appropriate event production insurance and can provide certificates of insurance (COI) upon request for venues.
